Nova Diagnostics ("Nova", "we", "us") operates the website novadiagnostics.health and the Nova app. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Because we handle health information, we treat all data with the care required of a clinical laboratory.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you provide through our forms, WhatsApp, email or phone — name, institution, role, email address and message content.
• Referral and clinical information supplied by you or your physician to perform the tests requested, including samples, demographic details and relevant medical history.
• Results and reports generated by our laboratory and delivered through the Nova app.
• Technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected through standard server logs. We do not use advertising trackers.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to perform and report diagnostic tests, communicate with you and your referring physician, arrange home visits, respond to enquiries, meet our legal and accreditation obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing

We share information only with your treating physician or referring institution, with certified partner laboratories where a test is performed outside Nova (and only to the extent needed to run that test), with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, and where required by law.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored securely with access limited to authorised staff. Results are retained for the periods required by Egyptian health regulations and laboratory accreditation standards.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations. Contact us using the details below.

7. Deleting your Nova account

You can delete your Nova: Manage Your Health app account, by Nova Diagnostics, at any time.

In the app: open Menu → Delete Account and confirm. You'll be signed out straight away.

Without the app: email info@novadiagnostics.health with the subject "Delete my account" and the phone number you signed up with. We'll confirm by email.

What we delete: your account and personal data, including your profile, family members you added, saved addresses, reminders, notes, share links and photos, within 6 working days.

What we keep: medical records, lab results and payment records that Egyptian law requires us to keep are locked so no one can use them, kept only for the legal period (for example, at least five years for payment and invoice records), and then deleted.

To cancel a deletion request, contact us before it's completed.
